We source our canvas fabric in Turkey, where it is individually woven and dyed for us. It is made of 100% natural cotton and yet is water repellent. The strong, sturdy material is the basis of all our products as it is extremely durable, easy to clean and natural.
The impregnation of our canvas material is, in contrast to the conventional method, PFC-free and is carried out with REPELLAN®. As a hydrophobic substance for the treatment of textiles, it is approved for bluesign®, GOTS and Oeko-Tex® and is therefore tested to be free of harmful substances.
We source the leather directly from a tannery near Istanbul, where it is vegetable tanned. Vegetable tanning is a particularly gentle method for people and the environment. Due to the gentle treatment, the leather develops its very own natural patina over time, which will remind you of your trips and travels.
To make your travel accessories as durable and long-lasting as possible, we have chosen polyester for the inner fabric. If you ever have any liquid spill in your bag or backpack, you can easily wipe it up as the interior fabric is water repellent.
From our point of view, the zipper in a bag or backpack is one of the most important elements. Nothing is more nerve-wracking than a hooking or even broken zipper. That is why we chose the world market leader YKK and their outstanding quality when selecting the zipper.
Stylish understatement is important to us when it comes to the metal parts. The matt gold color reflects this perfectly. All metal parts are selected and tested by us. Finally, they are dyed for us, giving them their matt gold color. This gives all Souleway products a minimalist look. Due to their intentionally uneven coloring, scratches and first signs of use are not noticeable and make your travel accessory even more unique.
