True craftsmanship is a dying profession that we want to preserve because we believe that something made by hand brings great appreciation for materials and the environment. That is why all of our products are handmade in a Hamburg studio not far from our office.
Handmade in Germany
The Hakan Atelier has been with us since the beginning of our journey. Here we already developed the first prototypes of our Weekender and meanwhile have backpacks and bags produced in lines.
The owners Hakan and his wife Arzu have over 30 years of experience in textile and leather processing. Together with the best seamstresses, they produce each Souleway product with the utmost care.
The beginning of Souleway was always marked by thoughts about the choice of the production location. In the end, the choice fell on Hamburg. Of course, production outside Germany would be cheaper, but especially in today's world, there are more important criteria that should influence this decision. Fair working conditions, CO2 savings through shorter transport routes, the best production conditions, a close, trusting partnership were decisive criteria for us. Through the close cooperation with Arzu and Hakan, we can guarantee the highest quality standards, as well as fulfill our social responsibility.
